There can’t be many people around who live a life of constant relaxation and luxury. All of us faces times of stress and anxiety. The Calmcast aims to relieve you of all that.

The Calmcast consists of calming music, natural sounds and bird song to help you unwind after a hard day (or a hard week).

Although this podcast isn’t the sort of thing I’d normally even glance at, after listening to it, I was won over. Being an old cynic, I wasn’t sure I’d like it, but once I’d relaxed into it, I really enjoyed it. It’s mostly a matter of giving yourself over to it and going with the flow. After it was over, I was indeed relaxed.

It’s great to have it around for when you need it. I’d recommend bookmarking it and making a beeline for it when you need it most.

Podcast: Top of Pods

Top of the Pods is a daily podcast. Each day the British presenters, Rob and Jon, take a look at the top ten of a given subject. These subjects range from the sublime to the ridiculous and include topics such as:

* Top 10 SciFi Totty
* Top 10 Songs Considered Worthy Endings To A Night Of Drunkeness
* Top 10 Worst Places To Use The Toilet
* Top 10 Things That Only Happen In Movies

As you can guess from that list, hushed reverence and political correctness is rarely to be found here. What you can expect is roll-on-the-floor laughing and constant hilarity. At 20-30 minutes this is a great podcast to stick on while you’re doing your chores - let me tell you, the time passes much more quickly.

It’s an excellent podcast and I can highly recommend it.
